Bio:
Andy has been the East Academy Director since 2009. He has been involved with MTA (previously Bangu) since 2005. With MTA, Andy has helped coach numerous teams to State Cup championships, won two US Club Region Titles, one US Club National Finalist. He has also coached the University of St Thomas Women’s team since 2009. In 2009 St Thomas reached the NCAA National Tournament.
Andy has been a Staff Coach for the US Club ID2 program.

Tim has been an intergral part of the East Academy since 2007. He has helped to build and shape numerous teams that have come through the East Academy and moved into our Elite Program on both the boys and girls side.
Tim currently coaches the 03, 02, 01 and 00e Girls teams
Tim is an experienced High School Coach and has coached the
Armstrong Boys for 2 years
Park High School Girls for 7 years
East Ridge High School for 3 years- Current School
Tim graduated from Cooper High School and went on to play for four years at Augsburg College.
Tim currently lives with his wife Mary, son Austin, and daughter Emily in Cottage Grove.

Yong currently coaches the 94 ECNL Girls and the 01e Girls
Yong also coaches with the East Ridge Girls HS program who were Section Champions in the first year of the program.
Yong Kim has coached with MTA (Bangu previously) since 2005.
Yong, from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, was a captain at Cottage Grove HS for his Jr and Sr year while earning All Conference Honors in his So, Jr, and Sr years. Yong was also named to the All State and All Metro teams. Yong went on to attend Mankato State University where he was twice selected as an All American.

Liz currently coaches the 03, 02, 01 and 00e Girls teams. Liz is also the East Academy Goalie Coach.
Liz has been coaching in the East Academy since 2008.
Liz is from Savage, Minnesota where she attended Prior Lake HS and played goalie for the Bangu Tsunami 90 Girls team. Her team was constistently ranked in the top 10 in the country and they won 4 State Cups and reached one Regional Semi Final. Liz currently plays for Hamline University.
