MTA Nike Girls College Showcase
The MTA Girls Nike College Showcase, hosted by Minnesota Thunder Academy since 2006, gives U16-U18 female teams the opportunity to play competitive soccer against other top teams during the winter, under perfect conditions, and showcase their talent to college coaches from across the Midwest.
Dates: February 4-5-6, 2022
Entry Fee: $860.00 per team
Age Groups: 2006, 2005, 2004/03 (U16, U17, U18/19)

- Games to be played:
7:00-10:00pm Friday Feb 4 (South dome)
8:00am-10:00pm Saturday Feb 5 (South dome)
12:30pm-5:00pm Sunday Feb 6 (Stardome) - Athletic trainer on-site
- 30+ college coaches in attendance
- Minnesota referees
- Free parking available in AHA lot
Rules
- Game time 2 x 40 minute periods (5 minutes at halftime and 5 minutes between games)
- Away Teams = White or Light
- Home Teams = Dark
- No warm up on field
- Games must start on time
- No added time for any reason
- Covid-19 regulations will be followed

The Academy of Holy Angels has two indoor domed turf fields. The Stardome, and the South dome.
The South dome was opened in 2018 in partnership with MTA.
The Academy of Holy Angels is located in the southern Twin Cities metro area, at 6600 Nicollet Ave, Richfield MN 55423.

Camps & Clinics
Minnesota Thunder Academy offers various camps & clinics throughout the calendar year. Participation in MTA camps and clinics provides an alternative to private lessons and private training.
MTA’s Juniors Camp is designed to introduce players to the core training & tactical activities that coaches implement with the MTA Elite Academy. The experience emphasizes the values and philosophy of the MTA program.
MTA Camp is designed to introduce players to the core training and tactical activities that coaches implement with MTA’s ECNL programs and the MTA Elite Academy. The experience emphasizes the values and philosophy of the MTA program so the players have an understanding of what evaluation criteria are used during the tryout process.
MTA’s Girls College Soccer ID Camp, open to all, is hosted by MTA and is designed to introduce players to some of the top coaches in the midwest while competing with other top girls from Minnesota.
MTA School Holiday Camps are held on days when school is not in session. Martin Luther King Jr Day in January, Presidents Day in February, Thanksgiving weekend, Winter break, etc are all times when camps may be held. Holiday Camp dates will change annually.
