Thunder NextGen Training is a specialized, supplemental program designed to elevate the performance of MTA players. We focus on developing solution-oriented players who possess exceptional technique, game insight, and bodily coordination. Our goal is to build a strong foundation that empowers players to consistently make intelligent decisions and creatively solve on-field challenges.
Key Features:
- Small Group Training: We prioritize individual attention with a maximum of 10 players per coach, ensuring a focused and effective learning environment.
- Targeted Player Development: Our curriculum emphasizes strengthening fundamental skills, including proper technique, game awareness, and refined motor skills. We believe in building a solid base for future growth.
- Solution-Oriented Approach: We foster players who can analyze and adapt to diverse game situations. Our training moves beyond robotic movements, encouraging creative thinking and independent decision-making.
- Detailed Focus: We delve into the finer aspects of the game. This includes:
- Individual technique refinement
- Habit development
- Understanding individual impact within team dynamics
- Specific skills such as: Pass weight and accuracy, 1v1 master, Rotations and positional awareness, Space creation and utilization, Evasion tactics (twisting and turning out of pressure), Angle adjustments, First touch precision
- Supplemental Program: This program is designed to work in conjunction with MTA team trainings, providing players with the extra attention and skill development needed to advance their game.
- Highly Motivated Players: This is a program created for players that want to improve their game, and are ready to work hard.

- Former Women’s first team assistant coach at Kolbotn IL (Toppserien)
- Helped run and coach similar programs to ‘NextGen’ in 3 different clubs in Norway
- Former head of Children’s Football at Kolbotn IL; specialized in foundation age players (7-13 yrs)
- Former youth coach, Kolbotn IL, Åssiden IF, Oppsal IF, and Manitou FC
- Former MTA Player
