FAQ

Questions families ask.

How long are winter training sessions?
All teams except U8 get 3 dome training sessions a week in winter, with 60–90 minutes on the field. Many teams add fitness time and team events.
How often do teams travel?
It depends on the team. Juniors teams mostly play local and driveable tournaments. ECNL teams have 1–3 National Events plus away weekends. Each team’s season plan lists its events.
Is travel chaperoned?
Families are always welcome to travel with the team, and most do. Families can share a chaperone to save money. If players stay in all-player rooms, those families appoint a chaperone and share hotel and meal costs.
How do we pay?
Player fees are billed by MTA through Byga, with payment plans available. Team fees are paid through Snap!Spend, where every team has its own account so families can see every expense.
What does “+ travel” mean?
Estimated team fees don’t include each family’s own travel costs, like flights, hotel and meals for away events.
Can I get a season plan handout?
Yes. Your director can share the season plan handout for your player’s team, and every offer after tryouts includes one.
